Bel-Jon received his MFA in 1936. During his seven years at the Superior School of Fine Arts Bel-Jon was a painting major and studied watercolor, sculpture-relief, miniature painting, elements of architecture, perspective, draftmanship, aesthetics, history of fine arts, history of civilization, anatomy, rhythmology, psychology, pedagogy and academic subjects.
